The 2016 Professional Management Review (PMR) Africa Awards were held on Monday 14 March 2016 at Safari Court Hotel and Casino in Windhoek. The purpose of the PMR awards is to create a global and unique marketing tool for companies, departments or institutions. These awards also enhance excellence in a specific industry and set a bench mark in that industry as well as create opportunities for companies and institutions. Meatco was amongst the companies that were recognised for their hard work in which the company won three Diamond Arrow Awards ranked 1st overall and rated at 4.15 out of 5.00 in the year 2015.

The Overall Outstanding 1st Diamond Arrow Awards were received in the categories for:
• Agriculture: Abattoirs Diamond Outstanding 1st Overall
• Agriculture: Livestock Diamond Outstanding 1st Overall
• Meat Processing Companies: Diamond Outstanding 1st Overall
