Meatco Livestock Procurement Strengthens Partnership with Okakarara Agricultural and Trade Show.

Meatco Livestock Procurement’s Technical Team continues to play a strategic role in supporting the Okakarara Agricultural and Trade Show, contributing technical expertise and industry knowledge to promote the development of Namibia’s livestock sector.

As part of Meatco’s continued engagement, Technical Advisor Mr Paul Tjaimba served as a judge for the Brahman Breed Competition and the Champion of Champions Competition.

These competitions play an important role in promoting quality livestock breeding by encouraging farmers to focus on superior genetics, sound breeding practices and the development of productive, resilient herds. Such initiatives contribute to strengthening Namibia’s livestock value chain and supporting the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the national livestock sector.
