Ndeuhala Lewis has been appointed as Co-opted Board Member on the Meatco Board of Directors, effective 25 November 2021.
Lewis will bring on board her wealth of experience when it comes to auditing and accounting. She manages her own Accounting Firm: Katonyala & Co Chartered Accountants since December 2009 whereby she provides auditing, tax, accounting and other business-related advisory services.
She has 20 years of experience in the auditing, accounting and financial field.
She is currently the Board Chairperson at Hefdy Group of Companies and had served as Board Chairperson for Namibia Airports Company for a period of six years.
Lewis has drawn her experience in accounting and auditing mainly from private and independent audits of State-Owned Enterprises such as Namport, Namwater, Namibia Wildlife Resorts, Namibia Airports Company, Namibia Broadcasting Corporation, Social Security Commission, City of Windhoek, Walvis Bay Municipality and many others.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has been a registered member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia (ICAN) for fifteen (15) years and with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB). Her other qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and Honours Degree in Accounting, Advanced Diploma in Auditing and a Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA).
The Meatco Board Co-opted portfolio became vacant following the untimely passing of former Co-opted Board Member Fanuel Tjivau in July this year.
