Meatco strongly cautions that during the offloading of animals, the Sales Advice accompanying the Slaughter Statement should give instructions regarding the deduction of the transportation fees from the producer.

If the fee is to be deducted from the producer, the transporter should provide the original transport invoice together with the Sales Advice. Should no transport invoice be provided during the delivery and offloading of animals, the transportation fees will not be deducted from the producer and the transporter will not be paid.
