Meatco reminds producers that they have until Thursday, 30 April 2020, to make their advance-booking requests for June 2020.

The slaughter prices for June will be announced on Friday, 24 April 2020, for proper preparation well in advance. Booking in advance is very important as it allows for capacity planning at Meatco’s Windhoek Abattoir.

Meatco, therefore, urges producers to analyse their marketing needs and confirm bookings with Livestock Procurement personnel by telephone or e-mail as soon as possible. 

In the same vein, producers are encouraged to include their 90/40 verifications when delivering animals to Meatco at all times.

Bookings and enquiries in the areas of Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo and Gobabis should be forwarded to Rivonia Omes at 0817854609. In the Windhoek area, Michelle Victor can be contacted at 081 815 3438.
