Meatco successfully hosted a European Union (EU) customer delegation from 4 to 6 September.

The group comprised of four delegates from a key distribution and retail operator based in the Czech Republic and a representative from Meatco EU.

The visit encompassed tours of the facilities in Windhoek and the Okapuka feedlot, as well as a farm visit. The customers also looked at new cuts for their businesses, which could see an increase in volumes that could finish this year around 500 metric t tons

The visitors were overly impressed by Meatco’s world-class standards and facilities and the fact that even in these challenging times, Meatco continues to operate at a high level, producing excellent quality products, much sought-after in Europe.
