MeatMa hold roadshows in Erongo Region

08 Jun 2018

MeatMa, Meatco’s product brand for the local market, held promotional shows in the Erongo Region from 21 May 2018 to 1 June 2018.

The promotions were aimed at promoting MeatMa products in the region and expanding the presence of the MeatMa range to a vast number of Namibians throughout the country.

Promotions kicked off at Wilson Supermarket in Karibib, a new cash account client that purchases MeatMa’s Chakalaka and Hotchix wors on a weekly basis.

On Tuesday, 22 May, promotions were held at Usakos Meat Market, a new MeatMa client buying the famous Chakalaka wors.

A day later, on 23 May, the product brand was at Arandis Woermann Brock before making a stop at the Arandis Bakery, a new client for a full packed promotional day on 24 May.

On 26 May, MeatMa was at OK Mega Swakopmund, a new outlet belonging to the OK Grocer Group, followed by Swakopmund Metro on 28 May and Walvis Bay Metro on 29 May.

The roadshow also visited Walvis Bay Woermann Brock on 30 May. The supermarket now stocks MeatMa’s Barbeque wors and purchases five boxes on a weekly basis, an agreement that was not feasible in the past.

The roadshow then proceeded to OK Foods in the beautiful town of Henties Bay on 31 May followed by OK Mega in Swakopmund again on Friday, 1 June.

According to MeatMa’s Sales Representative Local Markets & Value Addition, Griffith Uahindua, overall the roadshow was a huge success, as large numbers of people  familiarised themselves with the variety of MeatMa products available.

“I urge the public to also visit these retail stores when traveling to the coast to support the MeatMa product brand,” Uahindua said.

“These promotions were primarily part of Meatco and MeatMa’s aim to help entrepreneurs at grassroots level to develop and grow their businesses. Start-up companies are admonished to contact MeatMa’s Sales Representative, Griffith Uahindua @ 061 321 6315 or e-mail @ GUahindua@meatco.com.na for more information,” Uahindua concluded.

Meatma is expected to host further promotions in the southern part of the country.

Dates and venues of the second roadshow will be communicated in due course.
