Meatco is reminding producers to verify all documentation and to deliver European Union (EU) compliant animals to its export abattoir in order for producers to avoid unnecessary complications and financial losses during the delivery of animals.

“Producers must see to it that the 40/90 verification is added to the documentation accompanying the loaded animals,” Livestock Procurement Coordinator: Abattoirs, Louise Vermeulen said.
