Brazilian based Agraria recently visited the Meatco Okapuka feedlot with a group of farmers to find out more about feedlot schemes in Namibia.The delegation of 20 met Meatco staff who gave the a presentation of functions at Okapuka

Agrária is an agro-industrial cooperative located in the district of Entre Rios, in Guarapuava, State of Paraná. The cooperative, which was set up in the 1950’s, combines tradition and history with technology and excellence in management. Starting with farming, Agrária has set up complete production chains, which encompass everything from agricultural research, carried out by FAPA (Agrária Foundation for Agricultural Research), to industrialization.
