Every October Meatco announces the contract premium for the coming year, and this year is no exception. Producers are therefore notified that the contract premium for 2017 will remain N$2.50/kg.

Producers are encouraged to sign contracts with Meatco for delivery for the coming year. Only producers who sign a contract and deliver at least 90% of the contracted cattle will receive the contract premium of N$2.50/kg. Terms and conditions apply.

The delivery contracts can be signed during November 2016 for the following contract periods:

1. January to March 2017

1. April to June 2017
2. July to September 2017
3. October to December 2017
