Worldwide there is an increasing demand from customers for safe and reliable food. Meatco acknowledges this demand and endorses the fact that product safety in the food industry is a top priority and is not negotiable.

Meatco has strict quality control measures in place and is certified compliant with both HACCP and ISO 9001 standards. The company benchmarks its processes against the best in the world.

Meatco purchases mainly Free Range cattle from local farmers. These cattle roam freely in large pastures and feed naturally. No antibiotics and no growth hormones are used during their life cycle, as it is prohibited by Namibian law. This ensures that the end product is 100% natural.

Tha FANMeat system also ensures that all Meatco's products are traceable all the way back to their farm of origin.
