Notice: Advance-Booking requests for February 2020

Meatco hereby informs producers that advance-booking requests for February 2020 will end on 31 December 2019.
Producers who wish to make advance-booking requests for this period are encouraged to submit their requests through the following e-mail address LivestockProcurement@meatco.com.na. This is because Livestock Procurement personnel will be on extended leave during the upcoming Meatco closure and holiday season.
The bookings can be directed to Meatco’s Livestock Procurement employees either by telephone or e-mail. Bookings and enquiries in the areas of Grootfontein, Otjiwarongo and Gobabis should be forwarded to Rivonia Omes at 0817854609. In the Windhoek area, Michelle Victor can be contacted at 061 321 6446. For the Okahandja area, contact Vekondjisa Katjivena at 061 321 6413 while Okakarara producers can contact Elvis Uanivi at 061 321 6019.
Furthermore, producers are urged to provide the following information and documentation when making a booking request: producer number, amount of cattle to be slaughtered and preferred slaughter date.
In addition, the allocation run for February will only take place in the second week of January 2020.
The Livestock Procurement Department will close on Friday, 20 December 2019, and re-open on Monday, 6 January 2020.
