MeatMa turns 4!

Meatco’s product brand MeatMa, incepted on 28 August 2014, is celebrating its fourth anniversary this year.

A 20% discount promotions on all MeatMa products, with soup-bone boxes available at reduced prices, will be offered all week from Monday, 24 September to Saturday, 29 September 2018.

The big bash will be held on Friday, 28 September 2018, and the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) will be broadcasting live from our MeatMa Windhoek Outlet in Northern Industrial Area outside the Meatco Head Office. MeatMa has also invited the 2018 Kapana Cook-off Competition winner to sell deliciously prepared meat products and dishes from his trailer.

Come and enjoy with us as we celebrate yet another year of providing the public with a ‘basket of protein' containing high-quality products at affordable prices.

Meatma, an abbreviation of Meat Markets Africa, was started by Meatco in April 2014 with a specific set of principles in mind:

§  To produce safe, hygienic, value for money meat products for the people of Namibia by using the latest techniques and knowledge available.

§  To train and develop our people giving them the skills to advance and in turn pass on new skills to others

§  To maximise our involvement in the ‘Growth at Home’ initiative. 

§  To work with local companies to help them understand our needs so we can localise more of the supply chain.

§  To add value to Namibian raw materials wherever possible.
