Meatco’s permit day initiative for communal areas has gained momentum.

A permit day was held at the Okakarara auction kraal on 18 October 2017, where 324 head of cattle were procured.

Meatco thanks all the farmers who responded to our call and brought their cattle for marketing. We have established a good working relationship with the Okakarara Farmers Association who facilitated the day for us.

The main goal of permit days is to acquire slaughter and feedlot cattle for Meatco and to get them 90/40-day complaint for our export markets at the Annasruh Feedlot.
