Meatco hereby informs producers that in future before departing, the transporter will be informed by the Offloading Supervisor or his staff, whether the amount of animals delivered correspond with the quantity captured on the scanner, as well as the number stated on documents. If there is a difference, they will ask the transporter to communicate it to the farmer and Livestock Procurement will be informed.

This notification is not a guarantee that all animals comply with 90/40 days, because it often happens that verification can only be done much later, especially if there is a delay between the Meatco and the NamLITS systems. Furthermore, it does not guarantee that the animals will pass Veterinary Services’ medical inspection on site.
