Producers are reminded that the contract signing for the second period will end on Tuesday, 28 February 2017. Producers who sign a contract with Meatco to deliver at least 90% of the contracted cattle during the second contract period from April to June 2017 will receive a contract premium of N$2.50 per kilogram. If a producer applies via e-mail, it is his/her responsibility to confirm with the Service Office whether the application and proxy were received.

The contract system will automatically close at 07:30 on 1 March 2017 and clerks will not be able to capture any contracts that were received during the night, except if the clerk was aware of such a contract and could manage to capture it before 07:00.
