As per Section 14 (8) of Meatco Act 1 of 2001, notice is hereby given to all registered members of the Meat Corporation of Namibia, that the 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Friday, 24 June 2016 at 09:00 at the Wanderers Sports Club in Windhoek.

As per Meatco Act 1 of 2001 Section 14, only registered Meatco members may attend and vote at the AGM.

All producers that have delivered at least one head of livestock for slaughter directly to Meatco in the past two years, but are currently not registered members, qualify for membership and are invited to attend the AGM. They will have the opportunity to register between 07:30 and 08:30 before the AGM starts.

Annual Report
Producers are reminded to check their post box by 17 June 2016 for the Annual Report.

Meatco Board Members
Every third year a new Meatco Board is elected. Thus members will be required to vote for new Meatco Board Members at this year’s AGM. The current Meatco Board Members’ term will come to an end on 3 October 2016.

Proxy Form
Should a Meatco member not be able to attend the AGM, producers can complete the attached proxy form, authorising another Meatco member to vote on their behalf.
